    Arriving in Sun Valley, ID I felt excited that we were finally here. This was my big race of the season, the race I wanted to do best at. I chose this race because a win would guarantee a spot on the US Worlds team. Rumors circulated around the Get Out! and NoTubes house that the course was terrible.     One day not so long ago ~100 riders went to the Alien Run mtb race. 3 racers, 3 supporters, and 2 coaches represented Get Out. Elliott Saslow started strong in the top 15 but after cramping 35 minutes into the race he suffered through it and took almost 20 minutes off of his previous time. His sister Avra Saslow, was going to do the beginner course but after reaching the cut off where the beginners turn around she decided to go do the sport course and add 20 some miles to her race.     Our first competition of the year was the Mountain States Cup opener in Fruita, CO. We are very proud of our athletes display of focus, determination and smart racing!   • Congrats Nordic Racers

    This weekend was a big race weekend for Durango Nordic Ski Club (DNSC) as team members competed at the Junior National Qualifier in Steamboat, CO. Communication via text messages lead Get Out! to believe it was a very successful and fun weekend with many racers qualifying for Junior Nationals! Nice work!
