Kaila’s Race Report from MTB Nationals
Posted August 16th, 2011 at 12:53 pm

I chose this race because a win would guarantee a spot on the US Worlds team. Rumors circulated around the Get Out! and NoTubes house that the course was terrible. I didn’t want to start the weekend on such a bad attitude so I blocked it out and waited to form my own opinions.

This weekend was a big race weekend for Durango Nordic Ski Club (DNSC) as team members competed at the Junior National Qualifier in Steamboat, CO. Communication via text messages lead Get Out! to believe it was a very successful and fun weekend with many racers qualifying for Junior Nationals! Nice work! Results
Another star and former DNSC athlete, Tad Elliott, shined in Hayward, Wisconsin (love that state!), where he finished 2nd at the American Birkebeiner! Witness the sickness!
